Wendi Goodman

SSG Wendi Lynn Goodman, USA (Ret.), 55, of Houston, Texas passed away on January 30, 2014 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to George and Barbra (née Banks) Goodman.Wendi will best be remembered for her advocacy work on behalf of disabled veterans, especially military sexual trauma survivors, as well as her work training service dogs.She is survived by her father, George, her daughter, Jen (Luigi) Rashella, her sons, James and Sean Boryk, her sister, Lauri (Jason) Franks, her brother, Tony (Tammy) Goodman, her grandchildren, Brian (Nycoh) Dominic, her nephews and nieces, David, Adam, Ashley, Liza, Austin, Kyle, and her great-niece, Camilla. Wendi also leaves behind an amazing, generous extended family of military sisters and brothers.A Memorial Service was held Wednesday, February 19, 2014, 10am, at Houston’s VA National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.In lieu of flowers, a Wendi L.
