Sandra Ratinov

Ratinov, Sandra 1937-2015Avis Sandra Ratinov known as Sandra passed away on August 23, 2015. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 31, 1937 to the late Mina and Isidore Handelman. She attended the University of Minnesota and received a degree in recreational and occupational therapy. She met and married Gerald Ratinov and they have been happily married for 56 years.She was very active throughout the community. She was a Girl Scout leader, the president of the PTA and at one time was a partner in a needlepoint shop. She was outgoing, always there to help, giving. She liked entertaining friends, gardening, going antique shopping and traveling.She is survived by her husband Gerald Ratinov; her three children Naomi Ratinov, Michael Ratinov and Phillip Ratinov; her brother Joel Handelman and his wife Sarah; her cousin Edward Feerer and his wife Judy Feerer and their children.Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015, 10:30 am at Beth Yeshurun Post Oak Cemetery, 1037 N Post Oak Rd, Houston, 77055.
