March 18, 1946 – January 8, 2021Robert Witenberg peacefully passed on Friday, January 8th . Bob was born in Germany right after the Holocaust to Haskel and Sonia Witenberg. His parents were Holocaust survivors and they, together with him, his twin brother, uncle, and aunt, planted roots in Houston, Texas. Bob graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and he practiced law for over 50 years. He was an avid traveler with a hunger for meeting new people and experiencing life to the fullest. Bob was a humble and intelligent man who left everyone with a lesson and a piece of his wisdom. He had a way of making everyone around him smile and was a truly unforgettable presence.Bob will be missed dearly by all. His love of life and his wisdom live on in the memories of the family he left behind, and will be part of them forever. Bob was survived by Pnina, Gal and Adi Ben Gal in Houston
