1957 – 2020Mark Joseph Goodland went to be with the Lord on November 17th, 2020. Mark was born in Butte, Montana on May 31, 1957 and moved to Houston, Texas with his family in 1962. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was a simple man with a beautiful mind. He loved fishing, building homes & construction, and spreading the word of the Lord. He had a passion for Jesus Christ and spread His word to anyone he met. Mark and his wife Yuping are members of Houston’s First Baptist Church where they have made great friends who also share their love for the Lord. Mark never hesitate to give help to his friends, neighbors, or anyone he met. Everyone that knows him remembers Mark for being a gentleman, kind, and friendly. Mark’s niece, Ashley, remembers her Uncle for his compassion and always giving great hugs. Mark made sure to welcome everyone he met. He is survived by his wife Yuping, son Cole Goodland, grandson Jadyn Goodland, two younger bothers Brent Goodland and Gary Goodland , his niece Ashley Wied (Rob) and nephew Grant Goodland. He is preceded in death by his parents Milt and Myrleen Goodland, and sister Tawny.
