Joyce Dunn

Joyce Krull Dunn, 90, passed away on August 16, 2021 in Houston.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1931 to Maurice and Edna Feldman Krull and spent her childhood in Great Neck, New York.
In 1948 she and her parents moved to Houston. She graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1949 and attended the University of Texas at Austin where she was an active member of the Sigma Delta Tau sorority. In 1951 she transferred to the University of Houston where she received her undergraduate degree.
On July 3, 1951, at the Shamrock Hotel, she married Abe Dunn, a World War II veteran, Rice graduate, and Houston attorney. Their marriage lasted until his death in 2010.
She is survived by their son Jeff and his wife Lea, son Kerry and his wife Millie, grandson James Dunn and his wife Chelsey, grandson Jonathan Dunn and his wife Clémence, grandson Daniel Smith, and great-grandson Clark Prescott Dunn.
A graveside service was held July 19, 2021 at Emanu El Memorial Park.
