Irwin Maurice Meisler MD, passed away June 3, 2014 in Houston, Texas. Irwin is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years; Joyce C Meisler and is survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Sharon Ripps,  Brad Ripps & Sascha Ripps and Grayson & Elan Ripps, Andy Ripps & Carolyn Ripps and Gewenith Joyce Ripps; Carol Hyman, Brian Hyman; Paul Meisler & Vernon Traxler; Terri Karr & Rick Karr, Matthew   & Maxwell Karr.Funeral services will be held June 6, 2014 at 11:30 AM in the Freedman-Levit Sanctuary of Congregation Beth Yeshurun, 4525 Beechnut, Houston, Texas, 77096, with interment following at Beth Yeshurun Post Oak Cemetery, N. Post Oak at Old Katy Road. Rabbi Daniel Horwitz and Rabbi Jack Segal are officiating.Donations in honor of Irwin may be made to either Congregation Beth Yeshurun (http://www.bethyeshurun.org) or Houston Sheltering Arms (http://www.shelteringarms.org).
